It has a unique micro-climate reminiscent of the Mediterranean, with cool, wet winters and long, temperate summers.  Ideal conditions for the creation of powerful fruit-driven wines, including the classic Italian varieties of Nebbiolo and Sangiovese.

Most of our wines are made the traditional basket press method, a lower yielding method which extracts the best of the fruit, without the harsh tannins.
